LUMIÈRE PLACE UNVEILS $16 MILLION RENOVATION AT HOTELUMIÈRE
Upscale Hotel Includes 294 Suites, Elegant Waterfall in Completely Redesigned Atrium
ST. LOUIS, MO., March 14, 2008 – Lumière Place, Pinnacle Entertainment Inc.’s (NYSE: PNK) new $507 million luxury entertainment complex in downtown St. Louis, today announced the opening of its second hotel property. HoteLumière is an upscale, all-suite hotel that includes 294 guestrooms. The 200-room Four Seasons St. Louis opened earlier this month at Lumière Place. HoteLumière sits just east of the Lumière Place casino and is connected via a skywalk across North Second Street. The Four Seasons St. Louis occupies the skyscraper atop Lumière Place.
The 294 guest suites at HoteLumière were completely remodeled with modern convenience, elegance and comfort in mind. Each room includes signature pillow-top mattresses, Italian duvets and Egyptian cotton sheets. The suites offer high-tech features such as two plasma-screen TVs, iPod docking stations and a high-speed Wi-Fi network. The 1300-square-foot Pinnacle Suite offers a dining area, living room, wet bar and a panoramic, 180-degree penthouse view of Lumière Place and the St. Louis riverfront.
“We are excited to bring HoteLumière to St. Louis,” said Todd George, Vice President and General Manager of Lumière Place. “This hotel offers sophistication and style along with some features no other hotel in St. Louis can offer, like a skywalk to Lumière Place and an elegant waterfall in the atrium. It blends seamlessly with our new luxury casino and restaurants at Lumière Place. HoteLumière will be a great hotel choice for tourists, convention groups, families and gaming enthusiasts.”
In addition to the new skywalk and waterfall, HoteLumière includes Cascade, a new lobby bar in the heart of the hotel, where guests can stop for a drink and appetizers and get a dramatic view of the waterfall and lights. The hotel features a new 24-hour Business Center, Concierge and Valet service, plus more than 8,000 square feet of meeting and convention space. The complex will also boast a new Fitness Center, a new outdoor pool deck and hot tub along with an upgraded pool in the second quarter of 2008.
“There is a new level of excitement in St. Louis with the opening of Lumière Place,” said Joe Bryson, Director of Hotel Operations for HoteLumière. “This unique property gives us the opportunity to showcase St. Louis to visitors from around the region and across the country. The skywalk to Lumière Place and the tunnel underneath Interstate 70 will give visitors unprecedented access to Laclede’s Landing and the rest of the St. Louis Riverfront.” HoteLumière also features a new Italian restaurant, House of Savoy.
