Employees of the Year
It’s the greatest honor an employee can achieve at Lumière Place. It’s where one deserving front-line employee from each Pinnacle Entertainment property will fly to Las Vegas and personally meet Pinnacle Entertainment President and CEO Anthony Sanfilippo. There are some phenomenal rewards involved too. It brings a whole new meaning to our philosophy of And Then Some.
Employees of the Month
You can’t be the Employee of the Year until you become the Employee of the Month. Just as it sounds, Lumière Place will select one employee every month for this honor. The front-of-house or back-of-house employee will be chosen by a selection committee comprised of senior management. The nominated candidates are judged on their work performance, with heavy consideration given to guest letters, comment cards and previous recognition. It’s the best of the best.
Leaders of the Quarter
Employee recognition should extend to every level of employee, and Lumière Place takes great pride in the quality of its management. That’s why employees have the ability to nominate their supervisor or manager for their extraordinary leadership and hard work. It’s a way for employees to show how much they appreciate them too. Each Pinnacle property will choose up to three supervisors and one manager every quarter for this prestigious honor.
Service Star Employees
Pinnacle Entertainment currently manages a mystery shopper program that allows the company to evaluate the guest service skills of its employees. Employees never know when the shoppers will visit, and the shoppers evaluate Lumière Place over several days. After a mystery shop is complete, the property recognizes several Service Star Employees for their extraordinary guest service during the shopping period.
“And Then Some” Program
Lumière Place employees have the unique opportunity to honor their fellow coworkers through the “And Then Some” Recognition Program. If employees perform an And Then Some act that illustrates our Six Core Service Standards, employees can nominate him or her in Human Resources. Up to three “And Then Some” experts are chosen every month and their extraordinary stories are printed in our employee magazine.
